It's slow
Bloated themes and huge images mean visitors are gone before the page finishes drawing.
Website design for local businesses
We design fast, conversion-focused websites for local businesses that want more calls, more bookings, and more revenue — not just a nicer-looking page.
The problem
Almost nobody sets out to build a bad website. But four things go wrong again and again — and each one costs you work you never even hear about.
Bloated themes and huge images mean visitors are gone before the page finishes drawing.
A site built years ago quietly signals a business that might not still be running.
Missing structure, titles, and business details mean search engines can't tell who you serve.
People land, can't quickly see how to book or call, and leave for whoever made it easier.

The fix
Four things, handled together in every build. Fixing one and ignoring the rest is why so many redesigns don't change anything.
A site drawn for your business, not stretched out of a theme three competitors are already using.
Hand-coded and lightweight on purpose, because the fastest page is the one without anything unnecessary on it.
The groundwork that makes you findable, included in every build rather than sold back to you later.
Every page is built to move someone one step closer to calling, booking, or walking through your door.
Our work
We're a new studio, so we're not going to fill this page with borrowed logos or invented numbers. Here's what we can honestly show you today.
This site is our own build — same approach, same standards, same code we'd write for you. Judge the work by the thing you're reading it on.
We're taking on our first client projects now, at a price that reflects it. In exchange we ask for honest feedback and permission to feature the finished site here.
Claim a spotHow it works
No black boxes. Every project runs through the same five stages, in order, so you always know what's happening and why.
We start with your business, not your website. Who your customers are, what you want them to do when they land on the page, and what's worked or failed before.
This is also where we map out the pages you actually need — a structure that makes sense to a visitor tends to be the same structure search engines read most easily.
We design the real pages, not abstract mockups — layout, typography, colour, and imagery, built around the way people actually read a page.
You review it, we refine it, and nothing gets built until you're happy with how it looks.
The design becomes a real, hand-built website: fast, responsive, and working properly on phones, tablets, and desktops.
We keep the code lightweight on purpose. Fast pages keep visitors from leaving, and load speed is something search engines measure directly — so performance work pays off twice.
Before launch we set up the groundwork that helps people find you: clear page titles and descriptions, proper heading structure, structured data describing your business, a sitemap, and your Google Business Profile.
This won't outrank a competitor running a full SEO campaign, and we won't pretend otherwise. What it does is make sure your site is properly readable and eligible to rank — which is where every SEO strategy has to start anyway.
We connect your domain, put the site live, and walk you through running it — how to update content, where your analytics live, and what to keep an eye on.
Then it's yours. Every account stays in your name.

Questions
For a standard business site, plan on two to four weeks from kickoff to launch. The design and build are the quick parts — what usually sets the pace is how fast content, photos, and feedback come back from your side. We'll give you a realistic date after the review.
Fair question, and we'd rather answer it straight than dodge it. You can judge the work by this site, you pay once rather than signing into a subscription, and every account stays in your name — so the downside if we disappoint you is small and reversible. We're also pricing early projects lower than we intend to long-term, precisely because we're building a portfolio.
A sense of what your business does and who it's for, any logo or brand materials you already have, and photos if you've got good ones. If you don't have copy written, that's fine — writing it is included. If you don't have photos, we'll talk through options.
Yes. We walk you through it at handover so you can change text, prices, hours, and images without calling us. For bigger changes — new pages, layout work — you can either do it yourself or send it our way.
Often that's exactly what we're doing. We'll look at what's worth keeping — copy, photos, page structure, existing search rankings — and rebuild around it rather than starting from scratch for the sake of it.
Every build includes the search foundations: clean structure, fast pages, proper titles and metadata, structured data, and your Google Business Profile. That's what makes a site eligible to rank. Ongoing SEO — keyword campaigns, regular content, link building, monthly reporting — is a separate service we can quote if you want it.
No. The $800 is a one-time payment for building and launching your website. There's no subscription and nothing to cancel. You'll pay your own domain and hosting costs directly, which for most small business sites is very little — and those accounts stay in your name.
It's yours, fully. You get 30 days of support included for questions and small fixes. After that you can run it yourself, or bring us back for updates, new pages, or ongoing SEO — quoted separately, never automatic.
Vancouver and the Lower Mainland are our home base and where we can meet in person, but the work itself happens fine remotely. We're happy to build for local businesses anywhere in Canada.
Send us your current site — or tell us you don't have one yet — and we'll come back with a free review and a clear plan for what to build.
